Your mind is the most powerful tool you have to cope with the world and make it a better place. A healthy and productive mind will produce unlimited results. A brilliant mind is able to conquer challenges and move beyond expectations. Consequently, what you feed your mind determines your potential. For example, anytime you see or use a man-made invention, it makes you wonder how it was possible. The eight wonders of the world were man-made. Every amazing accomplishment starts as a simple idea in the mind.
To find your destiny in this world, you need to nurture your mind with good things. Unfortunately, we live in a generation which is hooked on filling their minds with junk. The results are painful and devastating. When tragic events occur because of the effects of a dark mind, we typically ask ourselves how something so cruel could be done to others? It all depends on what is happening inside someone’s mind. This is why we must guard our minds and feed it good thoughts.
Mental attitude is a product of your daily thought process. The battle for your mind happens every single day. How we react to circumstances defines the strength of our mind. In my personal experience I have faced many mental battles. My victories were the results of God’s mercy and grace. I learned that if I keep my love for God, my faith, and hope in his promises, I will make it through any storm.
Trials always seem overwhelming as we live through them, no matter your level of faith. It seems sometimes that we are alone or that we may even have done something to deserve it. But then God shows up in His faithfulness. He will never cease to amaze you. Trials are His training sessions for deeper faith. You see, if life was easy, there would be no need for faith. If you find yourself in a battle for your mind, keep responding by exercising your obedience to the Lord. Keep reminding yourself that God is with you. Know that His promises are real. Learn to wait on Him. Trust God at every turn. And most of all keep feeding your mind continually with good things.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8
